I have had a gret saummer and have really enjoyed the events I have been to and the workshops I have held and meeting all the wonderful enthusiastic people along the way. One thing that I have really been struck by is the WEDDINGS! I have made hundreds of seedbombs for weddings this year and the feedback has been lovely, with people saying thier guests give them updates as to how the seeedbombs are blooming alongside the newly weds new life adventures together, very romantic!...any babies on the scene yet? :)
I am looking forward to seed harvesting and processing time and the release of my next book with the Leaping Hare Range at The Ivy Press it is called 'SEEDSWAP' The gardeners guide to saving and swapping seeds I have thoroughly enjoyed writing it and hope that it is enjoyed by readers too.
Also this year I have loved watching our community garden 'VEG' blossom into life this year, we have a fantastic group of people who meet every tuesday, to drink tea, garden, chat, learn and share. We also held a really successful event called HIVE AID which was all about Bees, we had guest speakers, bee activities and educational films. All in all the whole day was BEEautiful!...sorry the bee pun had to be made!
I look forward to more Autumn workshops some scrumping and harvesting and making yummy preserves....
