SEED FREEDOM DOES: FESTIVALS WHITE NIGHT ADULT LEARNING FESTIVAL BRIGHTON 2009 THE FIRST WORKSHOP I DID IN COLLABORATION WITH BRIGHTON AND HOVE FOOD PARTNERSHIP In the 'Plot to Plate' area for the White Night’s event The Plot to Plate area will be focusing on preparing for winter including sharing skills such as jam making, seed saving and seasonal cookery. It will be a chance to find out where you can get involved in activities in the city and meet people already involved in cooking and growing. We are going to have three areas in the Plot to Plate section – one area doing cooking (including jam making), one doing pumpkin carving and one doing seed saving, composting etc. We did think about giving people seeds to take away with them – one suggestion was sunflowers because we will also be doing talks and demos on seed saving / using seeds.
