About PARK[ing] Day:
PARK[ing] Day is an annual, one-day, global event where artists, activists, and citizens collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spots into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public parks.

Anyone can participate in PARK[ing] Day, though it is strictly a non-commercial project, intended to promote creativity, civic engagement, critical thinking, unscripted social interactions, generosity and play.
San Francisco art collective REBAR first created “PARK(ing)” in 2005 to re-imagine the potential of the metered parking space.

PARKING DAY FLYER AND MAP:

A map of our locations but unfortunately last minute some of us had to change location due to a big sporting event on the seafront.
This made us feel a little anxious but excited because of the 'unknown' aspect of it.
I felt like I was going busking and didn't know if  I was going to find an adequate pitch or be moved on!
