IM SO HAPPY AND HAVE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE, THEY WILL BE PUBLISHED BY THE END OF THE YEAR WITH THE IVY PRESS http://www.ivypress.co.uk/ UNDER THE LEAPING HARE RANGE THE SAME AS MY FIRST BOOK SEEDBOMBS 'GOING WILD WITH FLOWERS'

I HAVE ALSO BEEN BUSYING AWAY IN MY SEEDBOMB LABORATORY MAKING HUNDREDS OF SEEDBOMB WEDDING FAVORS WHICH WERE REALLY WELL RECIEVED BY BRIDE AND GROOMS, I WAS SO CHUFFED TO HELP MAKE THEIR DAY SPECIAL.....AND IM BEAVERING AWAY MAKING SOME MORE FOR A DEAR FRIEND'S WEDDING TOO, WHICH IS WONDERFUL. I LOVE THE FACT THAT PEOPLE ARE VEERING TOWARDS ECO GIFTS AND SEEDBOMBS ARE PERFECT. WHAT A LOVELY WAY TO CELEBRATE MISTER AND MISSUS,  WITH SEEDBOMBS AND FLORAL EXPLOSIONS, THROWING SEEDBOMBS INSTEAD OF CONFETTI...ALTHOUGH NOT AT THE BRIDE AND GROOM...PREFERABLY WHEN THEY ARE DRIVING HOME.

I HAVE BEEN UPDATING MY WORKSHOP EVENTS LIST AND THE BOOKINGS ARE STACKING UP WHICH IS VERY EXCITING.
MY  ONLINE SEEDBOMB LABORATORY SHOP IS LOOKING GOOD AND IM WORKING ON MY KIT AND READYMADE PACKAGING...WORKING ON THE DESIGN AND TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING AS ECO AS POSSIBLE...WATCH THIS SPACE! 

I AM PARTICULARLY EXCITED ABOUT SEEDBOMBING SOME OF THE NEGLECTED SPOTS I HAVE BEEN EYING UP OVER THE WINTER.

I WAS THRILLED TO SEE THAT THE WHITENIGHT SEEDBOMBS ARE SPROUTING AND SOME SEEDLINGS ARE GROWING QUITE BIG NOW....

SO ALL IN ALL SPRING IS HERE AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL.

I am always pleasantly suprised at how alternative and wacky brighton is, the projects i hear of are so exciting! Im looking forward to the Brighton Biospheres Project run by our very own City Council!! looks amazing and I really look forward to seeing that unfold.
I also met someone who is just as silly about seeds as me! I was calling him my new best friend!
Colin from  wild flowers and meadows who had an amazing collection of seeds.
Last years Seedy sunday is where I met Nancy who was one of the first people to set up  'the mound' guerrilla garden...sadly that garden only had an annual life cycle...but what a fantastic gowing season it had! and it set seed all over bighton and beyond...heres to more guerrilla gardens in 2012...wherever they may be

]]>Mon, 26 Sep 2011 01:09:48 -0800http://www.seedfreedom.net/1/post/2011/09/look-for-seedbomb-sites.htmlNow is a good time to keep your eye out for potential spots for seedbombing and guerrilla gardening...you could even begin to prepare the land for when you grow in spring...by sowing green manure seedbombs or digging over the land and adding manure or the likes...or for the more tricky to access spots you could buy some green manure seedbombs which have plants in them that re-fertilise the land as they grow!!...good luck on your sightings I hope you find some fantastic potential gardens...big and small

]]>Fri, 02 Sep 2011 03:54:18 -0800http://www.seedfreedom.net/1/post/2011/09/food-for-free.htmlThis time of year is always bountiful..the weather is turning and you can feel a nip in the air and the evenings closing in...on a beautiful September sunny day make a special effort to get out in to the countryside to do a bit of foraging,  the hedgerows are plentiful and it is so rewarding when you sit down to gorge on crumbles and other home-made delights...
on your foraging trips make sure you identify the bounty properly before you consume it as there are a lot of poisonous berries that deceptively look positively scrumptious!  don't trespass on anyone's land either!
You might find your local roadsides  have many apple trees lining them I have seen them along side dual carriage ways!...if you do choose to do some scrumping be cautious park safely and pick safely.
